Character History: Chace grew up as an only child on the outskirts of Dallas, Texas. Born Christopher Chace, his mother began calling him Chace when he was two years old. His parents owned a few farms in Texas and Oklahoma that was a leading producer of cattle and wheat. Their family success on the farms provided Chace with a comfortable lifestyle. Growing up, Chace's father constantly emphasized playing soccer for a select team in Texas because his father knew that Chace was talented on the field. He wanted Chace to use his athletic talent to make something for himself and to help him get noticed later on by college scouts.
Chace loved soccer, but never saw himself playing in college. He saw himself more in the arts, but his father never approved of his desire to act. Following his father's wishes, Chace joined a select soccer team when he was 11 years old. He played for the Texas Chargers for four years before getting offered a chance to play for a boarding school in Missouri. Chace was at a soccer tournament when he was approached by a representative from the athletic department at the boarding school. Chace's parents were thrilled to give him this opportunity because they felt college scouts would be more interested in looking at a well-rounded student athlete than just an athlete from a small town public school. Chace was excited to attend school away from his father's constant pressure of soccer perfection. He has attended Laclede Academy for one year, joining his Sophomore year. He is an avid lover of the Archery and Drama club, but of course his main focus is on his soccer skills and occasionally, his homework.
RP Example: Chace layed out across the grass, looking up at the sky. He layed there trying to control his breathing after his 5 mile run around the field. This was his favorite part of running, the cool down. He could feel his rapid pulse throughout his body, the beating of his heart pounding in his ears. It took a little over five minutes for his breathing and blood to get back to a normal rate. Chace sat up and stared at the empty soccer pitch. He knew he needed to get up and practice his corner kicks before tomorrows practice otherwise coach would be all over his ass again. However, taking one glance back at his dorm and with a heavy sigh, Chace packed away the soccer balls and grabbed his gym bag making his way towards school. He needed to practice the kicks, but at the same time, he needed to start reading his book for english class tomorrow and he couldn't really afford having another assignment go unfinished, at least not this early in the school year.
